Backend Developer Full Time

Summary:

Wayhome is seeking a Backend Developer to join their team in revolutionizing homeownership by co-investing with people. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services, including APIs, batch jobs, and event-based workers.
• Write reusable libraries, such as clients for third-party APIs.
• Implement TDD/Pair programming.
• Deploy and run applications in containerized environments.
• Design and optimize persistent data solutions, including database schema design and indexing.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of persistent data solutions, including relational databases and best practices for data storage and retrieval.
• Growth mindset with a strong desire to learn and improve continuously.
• Product mindset, understanding the product development lifecycle, and user experience.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
