Backend Engineer, Moderation Full Time

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally to build products and features users will love
• Contribute to technical design, development, testing, and launch
• Review code and design docs, give feedback on product specs and mocks
• Set standards to improve developer workflows and recommend best practices
• Mentor engineers to enhance their professional development
• Continuously learn and improve technical and non-technical abilities

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in languages like Go, Python, Rust, Ruby, Java
• Experience designing and implementing maintainable APIs
• Experience with databases like Postgres, Cassandra, Redis, Memcached
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS, Nginx, and similar tools
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication skills in a fully remote environment
