Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health and retirement plans
- Manage open enrollment periods and new employee benefits
- Maintain accurate records for open enrollment, pricing, and plan changes
- Negotiate vendor contracts and updates
- Work with employees and insurance providers on benefit claims
- Provide month-end reporting and audits on employee benefits
- Develop policies related to employee benefits and ensure compliance
- Manage vendor relationships and month-end reconciliation
Requirements
- 2-4+ years in HR administration or benefits management
- Knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations (COBRA, PFL, PFML)
- Familiarity with HCM/HRIS benefits modules
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- HRCI-PHR preferred
