Bilingual Medical Biller – Spanish Full Time

Responsibilities

• Review and verify accuracy of medical billing documents
• Assign appropriate billing codes and modifiers
• Submit claims electronically to insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues
• Handle patient billing inquiries in English and Spanish
• Maintain knowledge of medical billing regulations and requirements
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members

Requirements

• 1+ year experience as a Medical Biller (RCM)
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Proficiency in medical billing software and EMR/EHR systems
• Understanding of medical coding and billing practices (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS)
• Experience in claims and denials management
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement procedures
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Medical-related courses preferred but not required
• Associate degree in Medical Billing or related field preferred
