Responsibilities:
- Maintain full sets of books for a portfolio of clients including bank reconciliations, fixed assets register, raising journals, and preparing financial reports in Xero accounting system.
- Handle activity statements and payroll support for clients.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
- Create Xero Files, Dext, and Hubdoc accounts.
- Communicate with clients effectively.
- Ensure timely lodgement of tax returns and payroll.
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as requested by Management.
Requirements:
- Degree/diploma in Accounting (Required).
- 2-5 years experience in bookkeeping operations on Australian clients (Required).
- Xero Advisor certified user (Required).
- Proficiency in Excel and Office (Required).
- Experience with software like Dext and Hubdoc (Preferred).
- Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
