Summary:
Brilliant Earth is hiring a hands-on Ecommerce Business Analyst to build scalable processes and deliver quantitative insights that guide business decisions. The role involves workflow creation, report customization, integration management, and automation to optimize e-commerce operations in alignment with the company’s mission for sustainability and transparency in the jewelry industry.
Responsibilities:

Work with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.

Design tailored solutions that address complex business needs, utilizing tools like Shopify apps, Salesforce, automation, and AI to enhance operational efficiency.

Analyze and optimize business workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand pain points and recommend best practices for process enhancements.
-
Own and maintain integrations such as email automation, appointment booking, live chat, social shopping, web analytics, SMS platforms, and other MarTech solutions.

Provide ongoing support to ensure seamless user experiences and effective use of Salesforce and Shopify solutions.

Develop new and update existing Process Flows and accompanying documentation for business processes, requirements, and technical workflows.

Provide training and support to end-users to ensure proper system utilization.

Create and execute test plans to ensure the functionality, performance, and quality of digital operations solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise to minimize disruption.

Lead project scoping, scheduling, and execution, including UAT and production release.

Facilitate internal and cross-functional project meetings, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:

3+ years of experience in business analysis, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or technology.

A BA degree (or equivalent experience) is preferred.

Strong understanding of Ecommerce (Shopify preferred) and business operations, such as inventory management, purchasing, and finance.

Experience with NetSuite ERP and Salesforce CRM software and integrations preferred.

Background in quantitative analysis or retail operations is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for various stakeholders.

Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on execution and problem-solving.

Strong project management skills, with experience leading large-scale initiatives.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
