Summary:
- Expatrio is an ambitious Berlin-based start-up in the fields of Fintech and Edtech, dedicated to making the journey to and life in Germany as easy as possible for international students.
- Expatrio is currently seeking a Business Development Manager – Turkey (f/m/x) for the Turkish market, based either in Germany or Turkey, to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the development, expansion, and maintenance of Expatrio’s partner network, including agents, universities, and other key stakeholders in the Turkish region.
- Serve as the primary contact person for Turkish partners, offering guidance and building strong, long-term relationships.
- Plan and execute marketing activities tailored to the partner network, such as newsletters, email campaigns, and advertising initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support cross-divisional projects and contribute ideas to enhance reach in the Turkish market.
- Assist in the preparation and participation in educational trade fairs and events, representing Expatrio and engaging with students and partners.
Requirements:
- Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, ideally with a focus on the Turkish market.
- Fluent in Turkish and excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
- Deep understanding of the Turkish market, particularly in the context of education, international student recruitment, or sales networks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathetic approach to building and nurturing relationships.
- Proactive mindset, able to work independently and take initiative in tackling challenges and responsibilities.
- Enjoys participating in trade fairs and interacting with clients, showcasing Expatrio’s value to the Turkish market.
