Clinical Research Associate Full Time

Summary:

Medpace, a global clinical contract research organization, seeks a full-time, home-based Clinical Research Associate in South Africa. With a mission to accelerate the development of safe medical therapeutics, Medpace provides Phase I-IV clinical development services across major therapeutic areas, employing over 5,000 people in 40+ countries.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-study, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits for research sites.
• Perform source document verification and case report form review.
• Perform regulatory document review.
• Conduct study drug inventory.
• Perform adverse event and serious adverse event reporting and follow-up.
• Assess patient recruitment and retention.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in a health-related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year independent clinical monitoring experience (entry-level associates with research associate or trial assistant backgrounds may be considered).
• Broad knowledge of medical terminology and clinical patient management.
• Basic knowledge of drug therapy techniques and clinical research methodologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local regulations and ICH GCP.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Great attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
