Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and administer compensation programs to meet business objectives
- Manage annual merit process including data validation, calculation, and communication
- Coordinate equity award list and execution of equity grants with Finance, Accounting, Legal
- Assist in modeling for equity refresh programs and budgeting with Finance
- Provide job evaluation support and compensation recommendations in senior management discussions
- Prepare reports and analysis to monitor compensation program integrity and competitiveness
- Conduct market analysis and make recommendations for compensation adjustments
- Research trends and best practices, compile compensation data for program design
- Keep updated on global legislation changes related to compensation
- Lead communication of compensation program changes to internal clients
- Develop compensation tools and templates for efficient processes
- Recommend process improvements and efficiencies within the department
- Contribute to annual budgeting with analysis and modeling
- Support HR Business Partners and Leaders with market research, data analysis, and policy application
- Develop external networks with compensation peers to exchange best practices
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years compensation experience with a strong advisory background
- Strong understanding of compensation legislation and industry best practices
- Experience building compensation programs for a diverse workforce
- Experience with compensation surveys, data analytics, quantitative analysis, and modeling
- Project management and change management experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Discretion handling confidential information
- Demonstrated proactive problem solving
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Experience working in a scaling company
- Expertise in using Google Sheets for data analysis (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Preferred: Experience with equity platforms like Shareworks
- Preferred: Experience with international and executive compensation
