Compliance Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Secure design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure and other future cloud platforms.
  • Automate deployments and maintenance of a resilient, secure, and efficient SaaS application platform to meet service levels.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the reliability, security, and compliance of systems.
  • Build out and create processes around Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) activities.
  • Proactively meet standards for information security and compliance such as ISO, SOX, SSAE 16, etc.
  • Define, document, and improve internal standards for style and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working with Privacy and Data Sovereignty (GDPR, CCPA).
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with an ability to support and enable teams through engineering rather than acting as a gatekeeper.
  • Direct experience navigating cloud-native platforms through various compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, StateRAMP, IRaP).
  • Experience supporting security and compliance for SaaS or cloud service providers.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams.
  • Experience with Security and Compliance tools (Sentinel, SAST, DAST, CNAPP, Cloud Security PaaS tools).
  • Experience managing Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for distributed, multi-tenant environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with distributed, event-based messaging architectures (Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus, Kafka).
  • Proficiency in English sufficient to communicate with international teams.
