Consultant for Africa LEEPS Communications & Knowledge Management at Results for Development Full Time

Responsibilities

• Co-develop protocol with R4D team and Africa LEEPS partners for scoping review
• Conduct rapid scoping review of effective communication strategies and tools
• Lead outreach to partners to gather input on communication strategies
• Develop output synthesizing scoping review on communication strategies
• Present output to Communication & Knowledge Management Working group
• Develop guidelines based on partner experiences and challenges
• Create a guideline document on targeting stakeholders and measuring success
• Join team check-in meetings and provide routine updates
• Support R4D team as needed and by mutual agreement

Requirements

• Consulting experience conducting rapid scoping reviews
• Expertise in communication strategies and approaches
• Knowledge of evidence-informed policymaking in West or East Africa
• Relevant communication and marketing skills related to policymaking
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize work, and multitask
• Strong teamwork skills across time zones
• Attention to detail in reviewing literature and preparing summaries
• Problem-solving skills with flexibility and creativity
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• French language proficiency is a plus
