Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, draft, and review commercial agreements including SaaS and vendor agreements.
- Gather internal feedback and work with sales and business teams to address requests.
- Review and improve efficiency in contract workflow processes.
- Enforce organizational contract policies and procedures.
- Assist in evaluating and updating company document templates.
- Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders and other departments.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to address compliance, governance, and risk.
- Negotiate with opposing parties’ counsel in written and live communications.
- Complete other projects as requested.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, with 1-2 years in-house preferred.
- Experience negotiating with customers and working with sales teams, preferably in SaaS.
- Experience negotiating with vendors and other suppliers.
- Ability to spot issues and recommend practical business-focused solutions.
- Comfortable in a high-growth, evolving environment.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- J.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the bar in at least one US state.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, including advanced Word skills.
- Interest or experience in privacy, AI, and emerging SaaS product topics is a plus.
Benefits:
- Base salary range $105,000 – $145,000.
- Incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
