Credentialing/Verifications Specialist Temporary
Responsibilities
- Work with clinicians to verify credentialing information and documents
- Complete credentialing packets within metric benchmarks
- Execute system data-entry updates for tracking and reporting
- Demonstrate effective decision-making and interaction skills
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based research
- Prior experience with physician group or hospital credentialing is a plus
- High School/GED required; bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Knowledge of certification requirements, regulations, and policies is a plus
- Ability to perform primary source verifications per NCQA guidelines
- Ability to investigate and analyze information based on guidelines
- Able to work EST hours
