Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers, and participate in the sales process from discovery to closing deals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and deliver presentations showcasing products or services’ features, benefits, and value propositions.
- Understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Provide technical expertise and address customer concerns during the pre-sales phase.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications aligned with customer requirements and best practices.
- Work with product development and engineering teams to provide feedback and stay updated on the latest product releases.
- Conduct proof-of-concept activities to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and competitive landscape to position products effectively.
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and engage with potential customers.
Requirements:
- Japanese speaker – a must.
- Japan-based or Japan-surrounding countries – a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering.
- Strong technical background with experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales/technical sales role in the information security industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with customers and provide tailored solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and the ability to think critically.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events.
