Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations team and wider Ophelos team to shape a customer-facing role
- Investigate customers’ circumstances on calls to provide fair, affordable solutions
- Own workflow by speaking to customers through multiple channels and solving problems
- Provide feedback on customer journey and use initiative to address new issues
- Foster a positive feedback culture and develop skills in uncovering customer needs
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and continuous learning
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working in collections at an FCA-regulated firm or similar
- Strong people skills — active listener with great empathy and understanding
- Genuine passion and eagerness to help people towards financial well-being
- Initiative to spot and solve problems
- Tech savvy and adaptable to new systems
- Ability to work cooperatively across departments and with stakeholders
- Self-motivated and aware of the importance of shared team success
- Self-awareness and proactive in requesting and acting on needed training
