Responsibilities:
- Calling customers regarding feedback, job bookings, and more.
- Promptly answering inbound calls and addressing customer queries to ensure the correct outcome.
- Liaising with contractors for bookings.
- Acting as an assistant to the General Manager.
- Providing customer service and support to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Setting up new customers in systems, including data entry into operations software.
- Allocating ring-in bookings to collection routes.
- Completing service agreements and sending them out to new customers.
- Providing inbound sales assistance.
- Demonstrating a high level of trust and supporting staff for long-term retention.
- Following instructions with precision and quickly learning processes.
- Transferring calls and taking messages for specific teams.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role, preferably within the waste management or environmental services sector.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-oriented attitude.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of waste management practices and regulations is an advantage.
