Data Engineer at MMDSmart Full Time

Responsibilities

• Assemble large, complex data sets meeting business requirements
• Build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL and GCP
• Work with Data Analyst/Data Scientist on data-related technical issues
• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ pipelines and architectures
• Build processes for data transformation, structures, metadata, and workload management
• Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and big data stores
• Advanced SQL/Python knowledge and experience with relational databases
• Experience with big data tools: Kafka, BigQuery, etc.
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow
• Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure cloud services
