Data Platform Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Assist in applying well-architected framework principles.
• Contribute to the development of healthcare interoperability solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to understand and translate requirements.
• Develop ETL processes and frameworks for data engineers.
• Design and implement relational data schemas for reporting.
• Implement data solutions focusing on data integrity and security.
• Assist in integrating third-party healthcare systems and APIs.
• Work with cloud architects on cloud-based healthcare solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers for data management and analysis.
• Stay updated on healthcare tech trends and technologies.
• Participate in the development of repeatable integration mechanisms.
• Design and implement platform management tools.
• Maintain compliance with SLAs and OLAs.
• Support execution of the technical roadmap under senior guidance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3-5 years in software development with healthcare tech experience.
• Familiarity with scalable data technologies (e.g., Databricks).
• Competency in modern data systems and languages (e.g., Python).
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and app development.
• Knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards (plus).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, CI/CD).
• Understanding of HIPAA compliance.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Good communication and teamwork ability.
• Proactive attitude towards learning new tech.
