- They are seeking a Database Engineer to design a database backend for their Java-based application and contribute to various aspects of database and backend development.
Responsibilities:
- Design a database backend for a Java-based application from the ground up.
- Learn the software solution for document creation and evaluate appropriate SQL/NoSQL databases to create a suitable database model.
- Develop corresponding interfaces.
- Be responsible for implementing database processes.
- Conduct automated developer tests using tools such as JUnit on the database level.
- Contribute your expertise in all areas of development, with the opportunity for diverse tasks.
Requirements:
- A completed degree or vocational training in a technical field.
- Solid professional experience in backend development.
- Knowledge of both relational databases and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Java knowledge.
- Familiarity with frameworks for connecting databases to Java programs, such as Hibernate or MyBatis.
- An interest in current trends and topics in backend/database development and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to collaborate well in a development team and not only as an individual contributor.
