DevSecOps Engineer Full Time

Responsibilities:

  • Secure design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure and other future cloud platforms.
  • Responsible for automation around securing and hardening an efficient SaaS application platform to meet established service levels.
  • Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines with a Shift Left mentality.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the reliability, security, and compliance of systems.
  • Respond to relevant security incidents and events throughout the platform.
  • Proactively meet and exceed standards for information security and compliance, such as FedRAMP, ISO, SOX, SSAE 16, etc.
  • Define, document, and improve internal standards for style and maintainability.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience directly supporting the security and compliance of production operations for a SaaS or cloud service provider.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, with an ability to support and enable teams through hands-on engineering rather than acting as a gatekeeper.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively support and collaborate with teams to achieve common goals.
  • Experience with security and compliance tools (Sentinel, SAST, DAST, CNAPP, Cloud Security PaaS tools).
  • Experience managing Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed, multi-cloud, and multi-tenant environments.
  • Experience with container orchestration and management platforms (AKS, ACA, K8s).
  • Programming skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Go, etc.
  • Experience with the implementation, maintenance, and support of CI/CD practices and tools (Azure DevOps or similar).
  • Experience with distributed, event-based messaging architectures (Azure Event Hub, Azure Service Bus, Kafka).
  • Proficiency in English sufficient to communicate with international teams.
