Director, Corporate Partnerships – Industry Verticals Full Time

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Lead a deal team focused on prioritizing, targeting, creating, and closing new and expansion opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Develop a deep understanding of InStride’s offerings, mission, and competitive landscape.
• Define clear value propositions for each prospect, creating tailored approaches for each account.
• Build relationships and gain buy-in from potential partners, aligning on desired outcomes and how InStride can deliver on them.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders throughout the selling process.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external executive and C-level leaders.
• Utilize Salesforce to maintain accurate corporate partner, pipeline, and forecast data.
• Travel as necessary.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10+ years of related sales/business development/corporate partnership experience, preferably selling tech-enabled services, education, edtech, SAAS, benefits, or HCM solutions to C-level executives in franchise, hospitality, retail, or large front-line employee organizations.
• Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
• Proficiency in consultative/value-based selling.
• Ability to navigate tough situations and negotiate the best outcomes.
• Experience in partnering with internal stakeholders on account strategies.
• Highly empathetic with the ability to connect with diverse groups of stakeholders.
• Driven by excellence in sales, constantly striving to improve and demonstrating learning agility.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and a startup mentality.
