Director of Accounting Full Time

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including general ledger
• Ensure timely production of financial statements and reports
• Perform month-end accounting close functions and reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Implement GAAP standards, including ASC 606 for revenue recognition
• Establish internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Advise on accounting standards for strategic initiatives
• Manage the annual external audit process and liaise with auditors
• Build and lead the Controllership Organization with a focus on improvement

Requirements

• CPA designation preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with Big 4 accounting firms in audit practice is desirable
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with NetSuite; implementation experience is a plus
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
