The Director of Asset Advisory at Bureau Veritas will lead key services within the Asset Management division, such as Facility Condition Assessment, Energy, and ADA Services. This role involves overseeing operational efficiency, managing P&L responsibilities, and collaborating with leadership teams to drive profitability and client satisfaction. The position requires expertise in project management, team leadership, and client relations.
Leads Facility Condition Assessment, Energy, and ADA Services.
Designs new initiatives to maximize operational efficiency.
Implements standard Project Management standards adhering to PMBOK.
Oversees specific business service lines’ profit & loss center.
Develops and tracks cost models to ensure profitability.
Manages team utilization metrics and resource assignments.
Creates career progression roadmaps for employees.
Standardizes operating procedures across project types.
Develops business growth plans, revenue generation, hiring, and resource utilization.
Ensures high-quality production and client satisfaction.
Performs QA/QC reviews and final reviews for complex technical protocols.
Meets with clients to strengthen and expand relationships.
Travels to client sites across the U.S. (30% of workweek).
Ensures profitability goals are met based on workforce capacity and revenue goals.
Collaborates with leadership to create budgets and quarterly updates.
Participates in meetings and committees to achieve operational goals.
Provides leadership and champions new services for BV growth.
Drives team performance based on KPIs.
Ascertains and communicates client expectations.
Utilizes data analytics for business decisions.
Ensures the effective allocation of departmental resources.
Maintains open communication regarding operations.
Provides technical expertise/guidance for the department.
Assists Talent Acquisition by interviewing candidates.
Develops and provides client training programs.
Upholds industry standards and company policies.
Ensures safe and clean work areas.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or ten years of related experience.
Minimum of seven years of related experience.
Preferred experience managing 75+ team members.
Minimum of two years of P&L management.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
PMP certification preferred.
Registered Architect, Professional Engineer, or other certifications preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Proficient in project management and spreadsheet software.
