Responsibilities
- Build an effective and structured sales process
- Prioritize changing demands and meet tight deadlines
- Forecast revenue growth through sales pipeline analysis
- Collaborate with Marketing, Partnership, Product Management, and Leadership Teams
- Work with Legal and Finance on contracting processes
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team
- Direct sales strategies and maintain YOY growth
- Provide strong leadership and motivation to the sales team
- Establish sales objectives and develop annual sales quotas
- Participate in sales forecasts, projections, and budget creation
- Execute business projects and initiatives with the Leadership Team
- Develop strategies to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Monitor and adjust financial metrics, sales targets, and KPIs
- Develop and coach a geographically dispersed sales team
- Understand customer needs and trends in early childhood and K-12 education
Requirements
- Travel as required (50%)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
- 7+ years of progressive sales experience, including 3+ years in sales leadership
- Experience in early childhood or K-12 sectors, services or software companies
- Expertise in crafting strategies for revenue growth and expense control
- Demonstrated large account sales success and executive-level relationships
- Exceptional analytical skills in market strategy and value-based selling
- Excellent interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of achieving team quotas and revenue goals
