Director of Software Engineering Full Time

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and scale software engineering teams
• Oversee the software development lifecycle for timely product delivery
• Steer the technical roadmap and ensure alignment with strategy
• Create systems for consistent product delivery with a customer focus
• Collaborate with the product team on technical requirements and architecture
• Mentor and develop engineering talent for continuous growth
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of systems and infrastructure
• Guide teams’ technical direction and hands-on involvement
• Ship products, gather feedback, and iterate based on user input

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years leading software engineering teams at a high-growth SaaS company
• Experience with Agile environment and Scrum methodology
• Expertise in PHP, React, and Python
• Strong understanding of SaaS systems and microservices architecture
• Proven ability to attract, hire, and mentor engineers
• Experience with scalable application development in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience leading a fully remote team
