Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to applicants on FEMA programs.
- Identify impacts of policy changes and brief applicants.
- Lead applicant meetings and briefings.
- Perform damage assessments for FEMA eligibility.
- Develop detailed cost estimates of damages.
- Conduct project validation reviews.
- Recommend hazard mitigation strategies.
- Review documentation for reimbursement accuracy.
- Implement grant performance plans.
- Conduct quality control over other specialists’ work.
Requirements:
- Five years’ experience with FEMA Public Assistance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of FEMA PA programs.
- Experience with FEMA New PA Delivery Model.
- Strong interpretation and communication skills.
- Expertise in disaster recovery and grants management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance.
