Domestic Surveyor – South East London at Octopus Energy Full Time

Responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes, conduct surveys for heat pumps or Energy Performance Certificates.
• Capture data points, perform heat loss calculations, and provide quotes.
• Ensure accurate information for designing and installing low carbon heating systems.
• Expertly explain processes to customers and advocate for sustainable technologies.
• Maintain excellent communication to enhance customer satisfaction and home upgrades.
• Adapt to fast-paced changes and demonstrate resilience in a customer-facing role.

Requirements

• Effective customer communication skills, preferably face-to-face.
• Experience in energy efficiency assessments or working with MCS accredited organizations.
• Familiarity with heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage, and electrical equipment is advantageous.
• Mechanical or electrical experience is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
• Strong IT and tech skills; clean driving license required.
