Responsibilities:
- Perform CAD drafting for electrical substation projects.
- Create new drawings or update existing drawings as required.
- Follow CAD standards and maintain accurate, quality work.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and seek resolutions for non-standard analytical problems.
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers and Engineers.
- Attend project-specific meetings to determine CAD schedules and requirements.
- Attend site visits as required.
- Attend seminars and/or training classes.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology is preferred.
- 0 to 3 years of related experience required.
- Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCad, Autodesk Revit, and/or Microstation preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication/coordination skills.
- Ability to learn on the fly.
