- This position is for an Embedded VSOC Analyst to join the team remotely in Australia and work with the client on a 24/7 security operations center (VSOC).
Responsibilities:
- Use all-source intelligence to monitor security incidents and trends affecting the client’s areas of operation.
- Support the client’s trust and safety function to monitor and respond to platform-related issues.
- Escalate security incidents to client stakeholders following efficient and rehearsed procedures.
- Maintain visibility on employee movements and proximity to incidents, advising accordingly.
- Participate in training and drills to rehearse incident preparation and response.
- Support internal stakeholders with ad hoc reporting on geopolitical developments and scenario planning.
- Work as part of a small, dispersed team to deliver high-impact services.
- Research and analyze information to create insightful analysis and present data visualizations.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Korean (written and verbal, including social media terminology and slang).
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations, Security Studies, Criminal Justice, Journalism, or related field.
- At least 1-3 years’ experience in an intelligence or customer-focused role in geopolitical risk, corporate security, government, law enforcement, or similar.
- Ability to interpret, organize, and visualize data.
- Ability to assess how geopolitical and security threats impact private sector operations, travelers, and sites.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to evaluate large amounts of data quickly.
- Ability to provide creative insight into complex situations.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work both individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- High-level competency with MS Office and Google Workspace tools.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
