Enterprise Support Engineer – Weekend Shift Full Time

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to optimize use of BlueCat products and services
• Act as a ‘trusted advisor’ ensuring recommendations are taken seriously
• Apply troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify root causes
• Set up test environments to mirror the customer’s production setup
• Communicate effectively with the BlueCat Engineering team
• Help clients follow best practices and identify upgrade opportunities
• Escalate issues across multiple business units within BlueCat
• Own the technical relationship with customers for strategic planning

Requirements

• Insatiable thirst for knowledge and improvement
• Proactive self-starter with technical savvy
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols and debugging issues
• 5+ years of experience with DNS, DHCP, and Linux
• Excellent communication skills for technical explanations
• Passion for constant improvement and efficient project focus
• Experience managing customers in an enterprise environment
