Requirements
- 5+ years as a database, infrastructure, or platform engineer
- Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable database systems
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational database structures
- Expertise with database internals, performance tuning, and query optimization
- Experience with data reliability, fault tolerance, and integrity
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), including RDS
- Experience designing and building highly reliable systems at scale
- Some experience with observability tooling (e.g., ELK, Datadog)
- Familiarity with containerization, orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, GitOps)
Benefits
- Expected base salary $175,000 – $225,000
