Responsibilities:
- Validate and discuss specifications for new features with the product team, focusing on finding the right solutions for customer problems.
- Design and develop internal and customer-facing web applications and APIs.
- Extend the optimization engine for online advertising.
- Improve the performance of the synchronization engine for large data sets from APIs of advertising platforms like Google Ads and Amazon Advertising.
- Advance deployment and monitoring processes for applications and infrastructure (not mandatory).
- Handle and minimize large data sets up to 1 million.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in backend software development and handling big data sets.
- Product-oriented with at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Strong communication skills in English (minimum C1) and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical teams.
- Willingness to lead internal projects (a plus).
- Located in the EU or within a 2-hour time difference from Berlin time zone.
- Excited about analyzing problems and developing solutions.
- Advanced Python and SQL skills.
- Comfortable on the *nix command line.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and monitoring tools (a plus).
- Ability to work independently.
