- FieldCore is looking for an experienced Aeroderivative Controls Engineer and Technical Field Advisor to join the Field Operations team based in Nigeria.

- The role involves overseeing aeroderivative gas turbines during installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage controls activities on-site during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of aeroderivative turbines and equipment.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of heavy-duty equipment.
- Manage site activities, including planning, organizing, integrating, and directing resources such as labor, tools, and materials according to contractual requirements.
- Understand and interpret PLC ladder logic for troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
- Ensure the correct practices for installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and maintenance are followed.
- Provide expertise on equipment instrumentation calibration and various types of transmitters.
- Provide technical support to customers, field technicians, and operators.
- Ensure all field activities comply with company environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines.
- Participate in technical meetings and provide expert consultation on complex projects.
Requirements:
- Experience in power plant maintenance, turbine generator maintenance, or power plant equipment installation and commissioning.
- Experience with Gas Turbine Driver Control Systems and Auxiliary Systems.
- Proficient in Mark VI, Mark Vie, and Mark V controls systems.
- Ability to understand and implement controls software.
- Formal education in Engineering is nice to have but total experience is prioritized.
- Able to travel extensively for field assignments and training.
- Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
