Responsibilities
- Extensive fieldwork on drill rigs to complete drill programs efficiently
- Geological and structural logging of Diamond Core and RC/AC chips
- Update sections and maps with drilling information
- Digital input and validation of logging information
- Sample selection for analysis; QAQC planning and evaluation
- Daily liaison with drill contractors, track drilling and sample dispatch
- Work with geological and geophysical datasets to assist in interpretation
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology (honours preferred)
- Previous exploration experience in orogenic gold systems highly desirable
- Valid manual Driver’s Licence
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, GIS, database, and 3D software
- Self-driven and motivated to learn and develop as a Geologist
