Field Sales Engineer – Iowa Full Time

Responsibilities

• Develop a territory business plan with target accounts
• Maintain and develop end user business at existing accounts
• Expand new end user accounts and supervise distributors
• Establish and maintain distributor relationships
• Review and adjust distributor stocking and discount programs
• Motivate distributor sales personnel with product knowledge
• Maintain technical proficiency and clear communication
• Develop OEM accounts as directed by the regional sales manager
• Keep distributors updated on sales policies and changes
• Conduct workshops or seminars with distributors and end users
• Maintain timely reporting of itineraries, expenses, and business reports
• Identify new opportunities and work on special assignments

Requirements

• 2-year engineering or technology degree or comparable experience
• Machining experience preferred, training program available
• Problem-solving skills
• Communication skills both oral and written
• Interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce
