Field Sales Representative Full Time

Summary:

• Position is responsible for sales, distribution, and retail execution in the assigned area; including managing distributor relationships, educating and motivating reps to gain new distribution, building sales, and improving chain execution.
• Objective includes applying sales strategy, executing promotions, and fostering distributor relationships to maximize sales growth.

Responsibilities:

• Maximize the sales and distribution of all company products in the assigned territory through the execution of sales programs.
• Apply a sales strategy to target key markets and establish a dominant presence.
• Aggressively identify, target, and market to existing and potential accounts, maximizing distribution and shelf space.
• Regularly attend and lead distributor meetings, keeping management informed of initiatives and performance.
• Train and motivate distributor sales reps on product knowledge and promotions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retailers.
• Coordinate marketing crew drives and execute marketing promotions.
• Use distributor data to identify opportunities for expanded distribution, lost sales, and volume increases.
• Record daily sales activity and meet sales goals set by the Regional Sales Director.
• Communicate with Market Manager, Regional Sales Director, Marketing Manager, and Key Account Team.
• Ensure company quality standards are enforced by distributors and retailers.
• Maintain understanding of legal restrictions regarding company products.
• Uphold a professional appearance and maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High energy, self-starter with strong desire to win at retail.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry, preferably in Beer.
• Retail account and wholesaler knowledge within the 3-tier system.
• Experience in using VIP iDig, Karma, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to analyze data, execute plans, and perform trade math.
• Physical ability to lift 10-25 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a reliable vehicle and good driving record.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
