About You
We’re looking for a Finance Specialist to join our team and play a key role in keeping our financial engine running smoothly. If you’re highly organised, love numbers, and want to be part of a fast-paced startup environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Must-haves:
- You are detail-oriented and learn quickly;
- You feel at ease managing multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines;
- You are highly organised, analytical, and take pride in your accuracy;
- You have a degree in Management, Economics, or a related field;
- You speak English fluently (Portuguse, Spanish and/or Italian are a plus);
- You have 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment;
- You have great communication skills and enjoy collaborating with different teams.
The Role
As a Finance Specialist, you’ll be working across core financial operations, helping us maintain accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
On a typical day, you’ll
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate records, supporting customer relationships, and continuously improving processes in collaboration with other teams;
- Handle and resolve client inquiries namely related to billing and payments through the ticketing system, ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-focused communication;
- Prepare and gather accounting information, liaise with external accountants, auditors and consultants to ensure high-quality accounting and reporting standards;
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations, as well as contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance;
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
Salary range
Our offers are based on the annual salary cost for the company. For this position, we have a budget of 28.000€ to 31.000€ – translating to everyday language, it would be a total gross package of 20.000€ to 23.000€ (plus meal allowance, health insurance and other benefits).
