Freelance Penetration Tester – Mexico Remote Freelance

Summary:

• Freelance Penetration Tester role, part-time, remote position.
• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in systems, applications, and networks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform penetration tests on web applications, mobile apps, APIs, and network infrastructure.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and weaknesses in client systems.
• Develop and execute test plans and methodologies.
• Document findings and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
• Communicate results and mitigation strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking.
• Strong knowledge of common vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Proficiency with penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CREST, CEH, OSCP, GPEN) are a plus.
