Freelance Researcher – Lao Translator Freelance

Responsibilities:

• Review and edit translations of laws, legal documents, and/or any other documents from Lao to English.
• Use the CUBE platform to match sections of laws to sections in CUBE.
• Conduct legal research using official sources from Lao jurisdiction/s and language/s.
• Conduct ad hoc/assigned research in Lao.

Requirements:

• Fluent translating and writing skills in Lao.
• Good research skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex information.
• Written and spoken English (UK) is a necessity.
• Ability to write clearly and concisely.
• Good knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work with electronic research resources.
• Ability to observe strict confidentiality.
• Proven team skills.
