- The company is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their team in a contract role.
- The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, with an emphasis on back-end development and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Django ORM, Django REST framework, and familiarity with Django Ninja.
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and optimizing database queries for performance.
- Integration of payment gateways (Stripe, RevenueCat) using their APIs, including subscription handling and payment information security.
- Implementing authentication and authorization using Django’s system, including OAuth and JWT.
- Identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing Django queries, caching strategies, and middleware.
- Designing, developing, and documenting RESTful APIs and using API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Proficiency in Git and experience with CI/CD pipelines, as well as containerization with Docker.
- Ensuring security best practices in web applications using Django’s security features and OWASP guidelines.
- Ability to work independently on large codebases and integrate machine learning models (beneficial but not required).
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Strong knowledge of back-end development with Python and SQL databases.
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Heroku) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of web security principles and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Django and Flask frameworks, and familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or MySQL.
- Cloud computing and deployment knowledge, particularly with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in CI/CD and automated testing pipelines.
- Agile development experience, with familiarity in Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
