Responsibilities:
- Support the accounting department in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
- Review and comment on financial statements.
- Act as the main contact for audits in Germany and abroad.
- Perform bookings in fixed assets and intercompany areas.
- Ensure audit readiness for the companies.
- Review and optimize accounting processes for potential improvements.
- Contribute creatively and leave a footprint through process optimization.
Requirements:
- Degree in economics or a commercial apprenticeship with an additional qualification as an accountant.
- Knowledge of HGB accounting, IFRS knowledge is desirable.
- Very good analytical skills.
- Very good knowledge of English for communication with international colleagues.
- Experience in auditing is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Strong desire to learn the company structure and stay up to date.
