Summary:
GE Vernova is seeking a Delivery Engineer with expertise in power generation equipment monitoring and operations. This remote position focuses on providing technical support and predictive analytics solutions for gas/steam turbines and related power plant systems.
Responsibilities:

Provide remote monitoring & diagnostics for gas/steam turbines, HRSGs, compressors and other power generation equipment

Maintain operating parameters within control limits for uninterrupted power generation
-
Coordinate emergency operations and quick response actions
-
Perform HAZOP studies and develop safety rules
-
Analyze equipment trends and historical data
-
Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment handovers
-
Optimize plant startup/shutdown procedures
-
Reduce auxiliary consumption through system improvements
-
Participate in turbine and boiler overhauls
Requirements:
-
College degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Controls Engineering
-
5+ years experience in power plant operations/maintenance
-
Expertise in gas turbines & combined cycle power plants
-
Knowledge of P&IDs, control philosophies, and technical specifications

Experience with lube oil systems, air intake systems
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, conversation)

Experience with firefighting systems and safe equipment operation

Control room operations experience

Compressor commissioning expertise

Portuguese language skills
