Summary

Dentons, the world’s largest global law firm with 12,000+ people across 80+ countries, seeks a Global Director, Client Technology. This role drives innovative client-facing technology solutions and AI initiatives to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction within the Global Business Technology department.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver client technology solutions focused on revenue generation.
  • Lead enterprise GenAI strategy and solution implementation.
  • Build and manage a team of client technologists.
  • Shape solutions, develop proposals, and secure funding.
  • Create and manage client technology product roadmaps.
  • Advocate for business stakeholders within Global Business Technology.
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure solution effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Experience in a similar role in an international professional services firm, IT firm, or legal department.
  • Strong understanding of legal technology and vendor relationships.
  • Advanced technical skills in legal technology trends.
  • Expertise in software development lifecycle.
  • Experience building productivity solutions using Power Platform, CoPilot, and Azure AI.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Strong project management and delivery focus.
  • Proven relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Methodical documentation with focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Understanding of business operations, technology architecture, and IT service management.
  • Emphasis on UX for technology adoption.
  • Exceptional English communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership.
  • Proven client technology delivery or strategic IT experience.
  • Change management and digital transformation expertise.
  • Business analysis and project management experience.
  • Strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation experience.
  • Foreign language capabilities and global professional experience welcomed.
