Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead a high-performing consultative sales team, developing methodologies for targeted customer personas.
- Uncover customer dissatisfaction, craft a vision for the future, and provide guidance to drive engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Splunk and Cisco to amplify consultative sales impact.
- Work with European teams to elevate consultative sales practices globally.
- Cultivate and manage internal and external engagement pipelines to ensure a strong flow of opportunities.
- Support continued investment in the brand and grow consultative sales by demonstrating value and methodologies.
- Oversee the operational requirements of the consultative sales group, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
- Amplify the impact of engagements by establishing the collection of trends and learning to support wider adoption across the sales field.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of proven leadership experience in a similar role within a software sales organization.
- Proven track record in strategic consulting, design thinking, business transformation, and data strategy.
- Experience building and leading consultative sales teams with a focus on driving growth and innovation.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to engage cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in a global context, particularly with European teams, is highly desirable.
- Strong technical background or interest and ability to connect with technical personas.
- A passion for customer-centric approaches and creative problem-solving.
- An MBA or equivalent experience in a large consulting firm is highly desirable.
