Head of Data Science and Engineering Learning Experience Full Time

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate a strategic vision for the Data Science and Engineering Skills Centre
• Lead and inspire a team of data science, engineering, and machine learning educators
• Oversee efficient allocation and utilization of Skills Centre resources
• Design, develop, and improve the data science, analytics, and AI curriculum
• Ensure practical and relevant training content for online and blended learning
• Lead research on analytics, machine learning, and AI to enhance teaching practices
• Manage strategic research projects and stay ahead of industry trends
• Optimize operations and scale programs effectively
• Engage with corporate partners to integrate feedback into program development

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in statistics, engineering, or data science
• 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
• Expertise in human-centered and customer-centered design
• Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering on time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience using data and analytics to inform decision-making
