Summary:
- Bridgency HR Management GbR is recruiting for an international, publicly listed manufacturing corporation.
- The company seeks a Head of Finance – Plant Performance & Strategy to manage three plants in Southern Germany and Switzerland, elevating Commercial Excellence and Value Creation.
- The role involves leading an operational team of four managers and reporting to both the Finance Director and the Managing Director of the Business Unit.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic business partner, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
- Develop business plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and implement growth strategies.
- Oversee financial management and controlling, including monitoring budgets, projects, and KPIs, and optimizing financial processes.
- Ensure performance management and commercial excellence through continuous performance tracking and improvement.
- Lead and support strategic initiatives as part of project management responsibilities.
- Enhance business intelligence by improving the transparency and understanding of financial data through effective reporting solutions.
- Evaluate the financial viability of investments (CAPEX) and projects through business case development.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external networks for relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with legal and corporate governance requirements.
Requirements:
- A degree in economics or equivalent qualification.
- Extensive experience in international corporate environments, ideally with responsibility for multiple plants.
- Proven leadership experience, both functional and disciplinary.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (HGB and IFRS).
- Proficient in SAP FI/CO and Excel, with knowledge of Hyperion HFM being advantageous.
- Fluent in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strategic and entrepreneurial mindset with strong decision-making abilities.
- A self-reliant, independent, and responsible personality.
