Summary:
Pediatric Home Service, a leader in pediatric home health care since 1990, seeks a Healthcare Paralegal for a fully remote role based in Dallas, Texas. The company provides high-quality DME and nursing services to medically fragile children, enabling them to thrive at home. This position supports legal and regulatory tasks, ensuring compliance and facilitating business development in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support regulatory, licensing, auditing, and credentialing initiatives for organization.
- Complete due diligence (including the review and organization of contracts and documents), to ensure filings are completed accurately and timely.
- Draft and update legal documents under the direction of counsel; independently prepare legal documents from templates.
- Research statutes and regulations.
- Provide support for business development, as needed.
- Track and manage project timelines for administrative program initiatives, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years’ experience as a paralegal, including at least 3 years of healthcare experience with an understanding of healthcare law including Medicare, Medicaid, credentialing, and regulatory licensing (multistate preferred).
- Highly attentive to detail; excellent organizational and time management skills; clear, concise, and logical writing style.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently, exercise self-direction and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; Effectively communicate and work with diverse constituencies and corporate cultures; develop rapport with people at all levels of the organization.
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA qualified program- required.
