Help Desk Specialist Contract

Summary:

Zillion Technologies, Inc. (ZTI) is a global consulting and tech solutions provider offering innovative business tools to enhance client competitiveness. They are hiring a fully remote Help Desk Specialist to deliver first-level technical support and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to teammate support requests via telephone and email.

• Diagnose and resolve IT hardware and software issues.

• Maintain professional proficiency within IT.

• Identify and escalate situations needing urgent attention.

• Capture and document issue details and troubleshooting steps in a ticketing system.

• Collaborate with IT teammates to research and document resolutions.

• Independently research and resolve technical issues.

• Contribute to technical documentation.

• Maintain knowledge of IT roles and responsibilities.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Assist with hardware/software inventory maintenance.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and some computer training certification.

• Degree in computer technology or related fields preferred.

• Two or more years of experience/training, or equivalent education/experience.

• Ability to communicate and interact successfully with diverse individuals.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Skill in capturing and communicating situational context.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Understanding of IT service scope and appropriate referrals.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office productivity tools.

• Ability to handle multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
