Responsibilities:
- Collect and deliver products in line with agreed schedules.
- Report to Operations Manager throughout the day.
- Complete all digital and manual documentation in line with company and client procedures.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and shared appropriately (e.g., amend if job order changes).
- Maintain levels of customer service at all times.
- Act professionally with clients and colleagues at all times.
- Adhere to regulations regarding staff uniform and performance standards.
- Follow route and time schedules as defined and notify of any changes.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle, notifying of any issues.
- Manage multiple customers’ and suppliers’ needs on domestic and international runs.
- Ensure all documentation for warehouse, haulage, distribution, and shipping is accurate.
- Perform general administration on a daily basis.
- Comply with all tachograph requirements as set out and amended.
- Perform any other duties assigned based on skills and competencies.
Requirements:
- Driver position reports directly to the Transport Manager.
- Ability to meet high-level objectives related to deliveries and documentation.
- Proficient in handling customer service, documentation, and vehicle inspections.
- Must comply with regulations and maintain professionalism at all times.
