Responsibilities
- Manage transport booking requests and communicate with customers
- Drive staff and visitors to meetings and functions within Lagos and Nigeria
- Conduct airport runs and liaise with airport officials
- Undertake journeys to other states within Nigeria
- Perform duties in line with post security regulations
- Complete accurate journey record sheets for all journeys
- Keep records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure roadworthiness
- Wash/clean vehicles and keep them tidy
- Report defects, faults, or incidents to the Transport Manager
- Manage a stock of spares for the fleet in line with policy
- Provide administrative support for the Lagos office
- Assist Deputy Transport Manager/Team Leaders
- Update transport-related data and maintain records for audits
Requirements
- Full valid Nigerian driving licence
- Formal qualification in defensive driving and armoured vehicles
- Minimum of 3 years driving experience
- Good knowledge and driving experience of Lagos
- Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office tools
- Minimum SSCE with 5 credits in one sitting
- Fluency in local languages and English
- Qualified to drive armoured vehicles (desirable)
- Experience with diplomatic missions, NGOs, or law enforcement (desirable)
- First Aid at Work and Defensive Driver Training (desirable)
Benefits
- Fixed-term contract for 12 months
- Salary: USD 678.87
- 40 hours per week
